Sally Pidge 

Director of Achieve Therapy Services, has worked in schools, clinics and universities throughout the South and California. Sally graduated from the University of Georgia in 1988 and holds a Bachelor and a Master of Education degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She specializes in childhood language disorders, articulation disorders, stuttering and apraxia. She has completed the stuttering specialist workshop through the Stuttering Foundation of America and is PROMPT trained.

 

Mary Martha Melancon

Speech and language pathologist, has worked in schools, hospitals, and private clinics. Mary Martha received a Bachelor of Education in Speech, Language, and Hearing in December of 1994 from Southeastern Louisiana University. She received a Master of Science in Communication Disorders in August of 1996 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Mary Martha specializes in childhood language disorders, articulation disorders, apraxia, and the autism spectrum.She is also PROMPT trained.  Mary Martha  leads many of the social language and social play groups. Mary Martha is also certified in Pediatric Yoga. Mary Martha provides inservices for local educators in the area of social skills in the classroom.

 

Rachel Shue

Speech and language pathologist, has worked at Achieve since June 2005. Rachel graduated from Valdosta State University in 2005 and holds a Master of Education degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She specializes in childhood language disorders, articulation disorders, apraxia and the autism spectrum. Rachel coordinates all social skill groups and partners with other therapists to lead the groups.

 

 

 

 

 

Rachel Helton

Speech-language pathologist, graduated from Appalachian State University and holds a Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has been working at Achieve since May, 2007. Rachel specializes in childhood language disorders, articulation disorders, apraxia, Downs Syndrome,  feeding disorders and the autism spectrum. She organizes and guides the Parent-Child Training Program at Achieve to assist parents with taking everyday routines and turning them into language learning opportunities. Rachel is also certified in the SOS approach to feeding therapy and is the parent consultant for feeding issues. Rachel is also certified in Pediatric Yoga.

 

Betsy Johnson

Speech-language pathologist, graduated from University of Kentucky and holds a Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders. Betsy has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, home health and schools. She specializes in articulation disorders, social language disorders, apraxia, autism and stuttering. Betsy also has additional training in Visualizing and Verbalizing Approach.

 

 

 

 

 

Angela Stulginsky

Occupational therapist, received a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Duquense University in Pittsburgh, PA. Angela has worked in a variety of settings with many different populations. She has worked in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient facilities and school settings. Angela has had additional training and experience in treating children with Dyspraxia, Motor Coordination Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Down Syndrome and developmental delays. She has also had additional training in assessment of handwriting skills and in the implementation of the Handwriting Without Tears program.

 

Ashley Cioppa

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, graduated from Jamestown College and holds an Associate degree in Applied Arts and Sciences. Ashley has experience working will all ages in a variety of settings including schools, early intervention, outpatient hand clinics and private pediatric clinics. Ashley specializes in treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, learning disabilities, Downs Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, Dyspraxia and developmental delays. Ashley is also certified in pediatric yoga and leads many of our yoga-social skills groups.

 

Ashley Godwin

Speech-language pathologist, graduated from the University of South Carolina and holds a Master of Speech Pathology degree. Ashley has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and schools. She specializes in childhood language disorders, articulation disorders, apraxia, autism spectrum, and feeding disorders. Ashley is also certified in the SOS approach for feeding therapy.

 

 

 

 

 

Maria Morellino

Occupational therapist, graduated from Touro University and holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Maria  has experience working in outpatient rehab, home helalth, schools and private practice pediatrics. She has had additional training and experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorder, Fine motor delays, Visual Motor Delays, genetic disorders, dyspraxia, sensory feeding disorders  and developmental delays .

 

 

 Leah Havinga

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, graduated from Greenville Technical College and holds an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy. Leah  has experience working with pediatrics in a variety of settings. She has had additional training and experience working with children with autism, dyspraxia, sensory processing disorder and developmental delays. She has taken additional  courses in NDT and SI.

 

Charli Moore

Speech-language pathologist, graduated from Appalachian State University and holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Charli has experience working in school settings and private clinics. She has additional training in articulation, language, autism, Down's syndrome, apraxia and processing disorders. Charli also leads several social language groups.

 

 

 

 

Megan Skinner

Speech-language Pathologist, graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2006 with a Master of Arts degree in Speech and Language Pathology. Megan has worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention home health, preschools, elementary and high schools. She specializes in childhood language, apraxia,  autism and speech sound disorders and is trained in Cycles phonological therapy for severely unintelligible children. Megan also enjoys working with children from bilingual Spanish/English-speaking homes.

 

Alicia Matthews

Occupational therapist, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Alicia has experience working with populations across the lifespan in a variety of settings including skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation, mental health facilities, schools, and outpatient private clinic settings. She has had additional experience working with children with autism disorder, gross motor delays, sensory processing disorder and developmental delays.

 

Lisa Ellis

Occupational therapist, graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Lisa  has experience working with populations in a variety of settings including school systems and pediatric clinics.  She has had experience working with children with autism disorder, Down's Syndrome, fine motor skills,  sensory processing disorder and developmental delays.

 

Ashley Carson

Occupational therapist, graduated from Milligan College in Tennessee and holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Ashley  has experience working with populations in a variety of settings..  She has had experience working with children with autism disorder, Down's Syndrome, fine motor skills,  sensory processing disorder and developmental delays. Ashley also has advanced training with sensory-based feeding disorders and enjoys working with children with sensory processing issues.

 

 

Jennifer Young

 

 Speech-language pathologist, graduated from North CarolinaCentral University  and holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Jennifer has experience working in school settings and private clinics. Jennifer enjoys working with children with developmental delays, language disorders, articulation, and autism.

 

 

Claudia Cassell

 

Occupational therapist, graduated from Medical University of SC  and holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Claudia  has experience working in outpatient rehab, skilled nursing facilities and private practice pediatrics. She has had additional training and experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Sensory Processing Disorder, Fine motor delays, Visual Motor Delays, genetic disorders, dyspraxia, sensory feeding disorders  and developmental delays. She enjoys working with infants as well as older children.
